Our Client an important developer and operator of solar photovoltaic power generating plants, asked us to look for capable Electrical Engineers.

Main duties and responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineers, will have different level of responsibilities and will be involved on the following activities:

†  Technical site assessment reviews and pre-design site walk-downs

†  Detailed review and design of photovoltaic (PV) plants

†  Support to Project Manager during PV system testing, commissioning and performance monitoring

†  Quality and safety standards review for design and installation work

†  Cooperation with/guidance of electrical engineers in an expanding organization

Job location:

The candidate will be based in Rome, Italy.

The successful candidate:

The right candidates would have the following qualifications and characteristics:

Engineering:

Ö         Experience in electrical design and electrical installations

Ö         Experience in solar PV system design will be considered a plus

Ö         Field experience in installation, start-up and commissioning of electrical components/substations

Personal:

Ö         Professional with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude

Ö         Self-motivated, driven, and results-oriented

Ö         Collaborative: works and plays well with others

Education:

Ö         University degree in Electrical Engineering

Ö         Fluent in Italian and English languages (speaking and writing)

Desirable Qualifications:

Ö         Knowledge of output, performance and reliability factors of various commercially available PV modules and inverters

Ö         Knowledge of PV Module Support Structure design, module array lay- out

Ö         Experience with interconnection design and review with utility companies
